The Wright Way: Madison turns 2! (4 months ago)

I started this post before Madison's birthday. Then our computer decided it didn't like being on. I took two months to get a new computer, and then another month and a half to get stuff moved over. So, now you have my excuses. Let's get on with my post all about Madison, the 2-year old!

These facts are about Madison as she was 4 months ago when she turned two. Many of the statements are no longer true, but were too cute to forget!

Madison makes Mommy and Daddy hold hands if we are walking together.
Madison loves spinning in circles.
Madison loves ranch and dipping things in ranch or syrup.
Madison loves to help me cook in the kitchen.
Madison sleeps on the floor instead of in her bed. (Thankfully Madison got sick shortly after her birthday and was too tired to get up. After one weekend of sleeping in her bed, it stuck)
Madison loves to help clean, she gets out the mop or broom and tries to do it herself.
Madison says "Daddy?" when she hears a garage open.
When Madison reads in bed with Daddy. She has to hold baby and Daddy has to hold bunny.
Madison loves her baby doll.
Madison says thank you when you do something for her, when she does something for you, or when she wants permission to do something.
Madison picks out the right key for the mail, the car, and the apartment.
Madison loves her reflection in the faucet of the bathtub.
Madison's "no" sounds more like "doe" and "please" sounds more like "eeze".
Madison says "milk" like "more" because we asked her to say more when she wanted more milk. (They are now more distinguishable).
Madison can drink a gallon of milk in 5 days. (I started limiting her milk intake because she didn't want to eat. She would still drink milk that fast if I let her.)
Madison loves bubbles and it is one of her clearest words.
Madison loves going on walks. She knows how to get to Brandon's house (her best friend, whose Dad works for PwC with Brian, and lives in our complex) and the playground in our complex without direction. (Madison now knows how to get around so well, she knows how to avoid going home at all costs. She will take any turn that leads away from home.)
Madison loves movies, especially Winnie the Pooh.
Madison's favorite part of the day is play time with Daddy.
Madison learned how to correctly insert the red/white/yellow cables into the TV and claps and says "yay" when she does it.
She gives the cutest 'hi' sigh of relief when you open the door after she's been locked in for nap or bed. (She now is so good at staying in her room that I don't lock the door. She waits until I open the door or tell her she can come out.)
She holds your cheeks while giving kisses.
She loves to help. She likes to carry in a bag when we come home from shopping.
She loves to help carry out the trash (carrying milk jugs or boxes).
She loves riding on Daddy's shoulders. She waves her arms like she's flying.
She loves watching people. She looks out her bedroom window at people in the pool. Or even at the empty pool.
Madison makes an L for ILY but it has to be poking herself in the eye. (She's getting a little better at not poking herself in the eye.)
Madison has a favorite sunday dress and favorite outfits. She can be particular, she's very particular about her shoes. (A lot of the time she vetoes every outfit I suggest. She shakes her head, swats at the clothes, and emphatically says "No".)
Madison loves reading stories.
Madison has recently learned to throw and kick. She loves playing with her balls.
Madison loves peekaboo.
Madison loves dogs. When you ask what a doggie says, she says "woof woof, doggie".
She can also moo and baa. (And do all sorts of animal sounds. She loves animals.)
Madison says sister and gives kisses to mommy's tummy. (She is extremely sweet with Katelyn. She gives her kisses and brings her toys.)
