Welcome to our apartment!

Welcome to our blog! We decided to join our efforts into one blog. So, here we are. :) For our first post, we'll give you the quick tour of our ghetto apartment.
Here's the kinda creepy stairwell that goes to our apartment. The door is behind you.

This is our living room/dining room/family room/game room/study, etc. One small room with so many purposes.




























Here's our kitchen. It's really just a wall of our multi-purpose room.






























Here's our tiny bathroom.

And our bedroom. Notice the closet that lacks function as a closet. Our clothes are in the hallway closet...

It was really windy one night. The wind blew open our front door and the window in our bedroom popped out of the frame. This picture was taken by Sarah inside. It's of Bri holding the window panes outside. Sad...


I made this cake for a hard week of school for Bri. I went to bed before he came home from work and didn't want him to eat some without me, so I stuck a note on it. He thought I must have made the cake for something special, since he couldn't eat it. He was happy to find out he COULD eat it, just not yet. :) Don't worry, it got eaten.













On Friday, our apartment quickly became much more ghetto. Our fridge decided it was done cooling food and that it was time to cook our food instead. Luckily we noticed and saved most of our food before it was totally ruined. Thankfully, our landlords were sympathetic and replaced our fridge on Saturday, just six hours after we called them.

Here's the old fridge pulled out to make sure there wasn't something simple wrong with it. Bri found wedding pictures from 1987 under our fridge. It probably hadn't been moved since then. Gross! No wonder our landlords didn't question the fact that we needed a new fridge.
And here's our new pretty fridge! It's clean and actually has shelves and drawers.
