Day 1 of no Jr. Core..

With the Accounting Jr. Core ending on Wednesday, yesterday was the first day we had to celebrate. We started by playing Mario Kart on the Wii and cleaning the apartment (the loser of each race had to wash dishes while the winner helped straighten up).

Then, we went grocery shopping. We bought lots of healthy real food and spent much less than we usually spend.

Next, we put on a movie (Minority Report) while working on a Thomas Kinkade puzzle that we got for our wedding but hadn't had time to open because of said Jr. Core.

After the movie, we made a delicious pork chop dinner with a fresh salad and juice. We had to eat at the bar, of course, because of said puzzle taking up our kitchen table. (Yay for tiny apartments! :) -Sarah)

After dinner, we finished the puzzle and went to bed early. I think I could get used to not having every single moment of our lives consumed by school and work. :)

  2. Ahh, great day! Treasure them, they don't happen as often as you wish even when you are done with school! (And as for the t-shirt, hmmm is it maybe a scale? Although it seems jr core would be heavier than life if it was...?

  3. So, the shirt is actually a T account in accounting. With assets, anything on the left represents a debit (increase) and the right, credits (decrease). So it's a debit to Jr. Core and credit to Life..
