4 months and 2.5 years!

Can you believe how old they're getting?

The girls are growing so fast.

Katelyn had a Dr. appointment this week.  She weighs 14.2 lbs (44th percentile), is 23.7 inches long (13th percentile), and her head is 16 inches around (43rd percentile).  If you're curious, Madison was 13.1 lbs (38th percentile), 24.5 inches long (70th percentile), and her head was 16.5 inches around (78th percentile).  Katelyn has longer feet than Madison had, which seems odd with Madison being taller.

Katelyn:
Katelyn has awesome cheeks.  Recently, she has decided she likes to blow bubbles.  This makes her awesome cheeks even more awesome.

 Here's a video.

Katelyn is really close to sitting.  She can do it for short periods of time, before she looks up and falls down.

Katelyn hates lying down on the ground.  She hates not being able to see.  She'll tolerate it for short periods of time if she has a toy to play with.

Katelyn likes to talk.

She's a cutie!

Madison:

Madison is talking more every day.  She still struggles with three syllable words (she breaks them into two parts), but she's getting better.  She is putting together simple sentences ("Stay there", or "I need it"). Here's how she says Katelyn and Madison.

Madison loves making new friends.  She thinks everyone we run into is her friend.  She says bye to all the people we pass on walks.

Madison stalls going to bed.  She asks for drinks, adjustments to her blankets, songs, and anything that will help delay bed.

Madison loves playing with dolls, little people, cars, stuffed animals, sticks, balls, etc.  She basically likes everything.  She is obsessed with Curious George right now.  She could watch the Curious George episodes all day long.

She loves princesses and dressing up.  Today, she wore her cape to the grocery store.  The other day she wore fairy wings on a walk.

Madison loves songs and singing.  She gets excited every time there's a song on a movie she's watching.  Today at the grocery store she got excited when she noticed the radio on.  She loves singing the primary songs during nursery.  She has also started singing "wah, wah" when she doesn't know the words, like during Sacrament Meeting.

She also sings while playing the piano.

We love our cuties!
