4 months!

Can you believe Madison is 4 months old? She is getting to be more fun every day! She now weighs 13.1 lbs (38th percentile) and is 24.5 inches long (70th percentile). Her head is 16.5 inches around, which is 78th percentile. She sure is a smarty pants!

Here's a quick Christmas catch-up. We don't have many pictures since Madison slept through most of the present opening. Wrapping paper just isn't that interesting when you're three and a half months old. She was awake while we did stockings and looked curiously on.
















Madison was well spoiled for Christmas. I think she received more presents than the rest of us combined! Here she is posing with some of her new presents.
















Madison loves her new play mat. The toys that dangle above her are perfect for trying to put in her mouth. Madison will sit under her mat for 20 minutes and be perfectly happy. So wonderful for helping Mom get things done!





















A couple of days after Christmas, we went up to Salt Lake to see the lights. Here is Madison falling asleep with her wonderful grandparents.

On New Year's Day, we were able to go down to Brian's parents' cabin to spend some time with family. It was so much fun. Madison had a great time getting to know her cousins!
















We're finally getting back into a normal routine after the holidays. Madison has been learning lots of new skills, like how to sit up in a bumbo chair. Madison loves being able to see everything. She insists on facing out when you hold her, so this chair works great!





















Yesterday, Madison decided it was time to learn to roll over. She had never rolled over from back to tummy and hadn't rolled over tummy to back in a few weeks. Yesterday, she was doing both like a pro! She often got stuck when she rolled onto her tummy and would fuss until you helped her get her arms out. I missed the first time she rolled over this morning, but saw a few of the rest. With all of her rolling around, she moves around a lot. She started on the mat when we started eating dinner, and before we could finish, she had joined us in the kitchen!





















Madison loves being on her side. She spends a lot of her floor play time like this:
