Catching Up

I apologize for the long break between blog posts.  I don't really have an excuse.  I just haven't gotten around to it.
So, here are some pictures of my beautiful Madison!

Madison is a little monkey.  She loves climbing on chairs, the sofa, the piano, whatever.

She loves playing peekaboo.  She giggles when you hide around a corner and then pop out.

For Labor Day, Nana, Pops, Uncle Matty, and Aunt Jenna came to celebrate Madison's birthday.  We put Madison in one of my old dresses, just to compare.

Madison loves to feed herself.  She always makes a mess, but will eat way more if I let her do everything herself.  She doesn't even like it when I break her banana or bagel into pieces.

We keep Madison's big toys in her closet.  She often climbs in to play with them.  Can you tell she likes them. :)

Here are a few pictures from Madison's birthday.  She loved her cake, once we convinced her it was worth eating.  Here is cake with the Kenison-clan at the Cannons.

Opening presents.

Cake round two with the Wrights.

When Brian passed the last CPA exam (wahoo!) we bought him a new toy.  It came in a huge box (which luckily the delivery people brought up the stairs to our apartment).

Here's Brian and Madison playing with our new toy.  Madison likes to play the keys, but loves to push the buttons that change the settings.  It's nice that she can't reach the power button yet.

Last week we flew to Utah to enjoy the wedding of my handsome brother and his beautiful bride.  They were sealed in the Manti Temple on October 5th.  It was a wonderful ceremony.  Sadly, Madison was sick (we were all sharing a cold), but we were able to enjoy most of the day anyway.

Don't they look happy!

We had a lot of fun at Nana and Pops house while in Utah.  An example of Madison monkey habits.  She's always climbing into boxes.

Sorry for the sideways video.  Madison loves swings and slides.  Here's the swing at Nana and Pops house.

Back to life in CA.  Here's Madison playing with our friend Brandon.  Brandon's dad works for PwC (just like Madison's dad!) and Brandon's mom is one of my new friends here in CA.  They live in our apartment complex and are in our ward.

Best for last.  Sorry for another sideways video.  Madison is almost walking.  She can do fairly long stretches of walking, but still falls frequently.  This isn't the best video, but you get the idea. :)

  4. I love the way little ones look when they start to walk. Madison just barrels forward. I think the only way she could stop is to fall! Cute pictures.
