Lessons at Nana and Pops'

What does Madison do while living at Nana and Pops' house while they spend two weeks in Europe?

She learns to open cupboards and play with the fun items inside.  This helped perfect her pulling up to standing.

 She takes drum lessons.  Uncle Matt was happy to help learn how to play the big blue pot.

She learns to climb under low bars...

... and get stuck.

 She practices general mess making.

 
She learns what it feels like to be a dog. 

 She had two excellent teachers.  Molly taught how to move when someone gets in your way.

Lily taught how to stare them down when they play with your paws or collar.  Both dogs were great and never snapped at their new friend on the floor!

 She learns that going down stairs is not allowed.

But going up stairs is a fun new challenge!

She learns that swinging is a great way to scare all the birds in the tree away.

She learns that Pops' books are fun to touch, but not OK to eat.

 The freezer is where Pops' keeps things that are good to eat!

Madison did surprising well sleeping at Nana and Pops' house.  It took a few days to get used to the portacrib, but she slept through the night most nights, even while teething!  She's had fun learning lots of new things and can't wait to tell Nana and Pops about them on Tuesday!
